You should not question God when you are going through trials of any kind, and even when things are not going your way. If you are a believer, you must exercise faith and trust God for what He is doing in your life. God may be taking you through trials to teach you something about yourself, bringing you out of darkness to light, and remaking you so you can glorify Him.
God is looking at you and He knows who you are. Before you were in your mother’s womb, He knew you and had a plan for you(Psalm 139) You may be in a situation or relationship where you are wasting your life away with procrastination, poor self-esteem, not realizing your gifts. You may be depressed and find yourself in a dark place and God is bringing you from darkness into His light by showing you that His word is light. God is remaking you daily through the trials to guide you, to remake you into his vessel fit for use in His kingdom so you can glorify Him.
My life is a testament to all of the above. I have gone through trials to tell others that God is alive, His word is true, and that He does makeovers. Before going into ministry, I worked for the State of Mass and believed that my work was my world. God changed that. My trials began with my son’s legal issues and my daughter’s mental health issues. It seemed that my life was not my own. In addition, I faced issues of unforgiveness, bitterness, anger, where I confessed and repented to God of them. This process brought me closer to God and helped me to love all of my children, the way God loves them. Today, I am a better person having gone through these trials.
May God help you to see what changes you need to make while going through trials. May God bless you.
