When Things are Not Adding Up: You Feel That You Have Failed

Narrative: Welcome to Insights on Healing Podcast. Our Episode title is, “When things are not adding up? You feel that you have failed. You will understand that even if you have failed in your business, failure is not the end, and that God is guiding you in your journey and you can feel hopeful.

 I am Joan M. Blake, an author, and I am your host. Insights on Healing Podcast includes the reading of scripture, praying, reading from one of my books, or  interviewing individuals who found purpose in their lives through the healing power of God.

The purpose of this podcast is to provide content which brings emotional healing and restoration to mothers who have had a difficult past and are currently experiencing difficulties. A focal point of this podcast is reflecting on the scripture verses and praying for my audience. I pray as you listen to this episode, that God would bless you with inner strength, purpose, and provide you with the hope that you have been longing for. 

Have you felt that things are not adding up? You simply do not know the direction God is taking you and you feel that you have failed to make a difference in the lives of others. Let us break this down further and show you that God wants to use you in different ways:

1.  I feel the same way. In my beginning statement, I explained that I felt like things were not adding up seeing that  my YouTube channel is not doing well even though I have put in a lot of hard work. I am asking God to guide me through this difficult time and show me what He wants me to do. This will come from trusting and believing in God through prayer and his word knowing that God does not make junk. You are not junk and you are not a failure. God desires to use your giftings in different ways, and for His glory. Ephesians 4:12 states that the purpose of our talents is to equip the saints for the work of the ministry, for building up the body of Christ.

• I think the first thing to ask yourself is what has God put in your heart to do from the beginning of your ministry, and have you been doing that earnestly? I remember God planting a Podcast for me to  do and while I started a Podcast “Insights on Healing” I have not consistently followed his leadership.

• If you have not followed God’s leading and positioning, revisit it and act upon it. Since I have not been actively creating a Podcast weekly, I have decided to revisit my stance and become active in pursuing God’s purpose by creating podcast episodes where I am interviewing guests.

• In the past few years of doing different things and not positioning myself in one main area, I have felt lonely and need to hire help to be successful. You and I need help to move our businesses along

Prayer: Let us pray: Father, I pray for every listener who seems to feel lost on his/her journey. I pray father in the name of Jesus, that they would remember that you have a plan and a purpose for every person before the world began and when that person follows your plan, he/she would walk in his/her destiny. I pray that every person will trust you and increase hope and faith in you because you are faithful to your promises.
