The Goodness of God Leads to Repentance (Rom. 2:4)

Do you remember times in your growing up years when you were disciplined for your wrongdoings? Your parents disciplined you because they loved you and did not want to see you take the wrong path. As you reach adulthood and have your own children, you understand the importance of parental discipline and thank God for your parents’ goodness.

Apostle Paul referenced the religious groups in his day who practiced judgment but did not see their own faults as being judged by God. We know that although God judges, He is loving, patient, kind, and faithful to us and he would do whatever it takes so all could come to the light of his love and receive salvation and eternal life. Today, confess, repent, and ask God for forgiveness for your sin. Receive Jesus in your heart and make Him the Lord of your life and you will receive salvation and eternal life.
