During this season, I have been promoting my book, Rise up: How to Overcome Your Battles Utilizing Faith and belief in God. The synonyms for Rise up include stand up, arise, and come up. These are words requiring you to take certain actions.
For years, I believed that I would not have to do anything, and people would buy my books and call me when they needed coaching or wanted to participate in classes. I realize that this is so far from the truth. What I needed to do then and now is to let others know of my services. I know now that God requires that we put our thoughts into action with His guidance if we want to be successful.
When I review Jesus’ life, He went from place to place declaring the Gospel and telling people what to do to be saved and healing many (Matthew 4:23) by telling them to rise from their sick beds (John 5:8) and arise to the son of a widow who was already dead (Luke 7:13-14). The words come up appears in Revelation 4:1 when John was relaying what he saw in the Spirit and stand up when Jesus healed the paralyzed man (Matthew 9:5-7). The Bible contains many active verbs telling us to do something in order to receive.
Do you have a gift that God wants you to share. It is time to be a blessing by sharing your gifts to the world.
May God bless you.
