Request a Prayer
Throughout the Bible, we learn the importance of prayer and the results that occurred when the saints of God prayed.
Nehemiah, a King’s cupbearer prayed that God would forgive his fellow Israelites and that God would allow him to spearhead the rebuilding of the Jerusalem walls which were burnt by fire. God provided him with the supplies and the men he needed to finish the work (Nehemiah 6:15).
Apostle Paul and Silas were beaten and thrown in prison for preaching the way to salvation. While in prison, they prayed and sang to the Lord and there was a great earthquake and God opened the prison doors. The guard received salvation and Paul and Silas were let go (Acts 16: 22-36).
Hannah prayed to God for a man child that she would give back to God all the days of his life and God blessed her with Samuel (1 Samuel 1:20). Many others prayed and fasted, and their prayers were answered.
Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up (Luke 18:1 NIV) You too, can go to God and believe by faith that He will answer your prayers.
