Since that day when I lost so much data, I have had to get used to a new computer. My life has changed drastically but it is not over. I am moving on. I am resting in God. I am taking a course about hearing God’s voice and I am so happy about learning new things.
Hearing and obeying God’s voice is exciting. It has brought me to a standstill. It has given me the opportunity to wait and hope for the best that God has for me and I hope that does the same for you as well. I am no longer listening to the many voices that clogged my ears for so long or being stuck in the rut of pleasing so many. The only voice I hear is that of God who answers the questions: “What does God want for me? Where is God directing me?”
God has a plan for you and for me. The plan that He has for us are good plans(Jeremiah 29:11). When we wait on God, He will show us the plans that He has for us. Oftentimes, we make our own plans thinking that we know what God’s plans are for our lives. What we need to do is trust God. Because He loves us, He is going to protect us. We must continue to believe that He, our Creator and Lord, is in control of our circumstances, and that what he promised to fulfill in our lives, He would bring forth in His own time. He is the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). I pray that God will show you His plan for your life as you make yourself available to Him.
In Christ,
Joan M. Blake
