Welcome to “Insights on Healing a weekly Podcast.” Today’s Episode is entitled: “If God is for you, who can be against you?” You will learn how to stand on God’s promises without fear and condemnation.
My name is Joan M. Blake, author, and I am your host. Insights on Healing includes the reading of Scripture, praying for my audience, reading from one of my books, and interviewing individuals who found purpose in their lives through the healing power of God.
The purpose of this podcast is to provide content that brings emotional healing and restoration to those who are dealing with trauma and other difficult life issues. I pray as you listen to this episode that God would bless you with inner strength, purpose, and provide you with the hope that you have been longing for. In today’s podcast I will discuss scriptures from the books of Romans, Galatians, and 1 John 1 to help you to have a fruitful life.
Questions:
Have you been going through life-issues for a long time and feel stuck in your past and cannot come out of that mindset?
Someone condemned you, someone made you feel that you would never be free to become the person God wants you to be
Answer.
I am here to tell you that you are unique. You are a child of God and that when God created you, he created you to praise and worship him and to have hope and purpose in your life. Romans 8:1 states that there is therefore no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the spirit.
- When you walk in the flesh, you do the things that are not pleasing to God and as a result, your life does not have full meaning. These things include hatred, envy, jealousy, sexual immorality and all the areas that are listed in Galatians 5: 19-21.
- When you walk in the spirit of Christ, you increase in the knowledge of God, and you live to please God. You have peace, joy, love, fulfillment and those things that are listed in Galatians 5:22-23.
- You can stand on God’s promises for your life without fear and condemnation because you are under the guidance and protection of your heavenly Father.
- God gives second chances to those who backslide and you can always re-unite with God through confession and repentance. In 1 John 1:9, the Bible states that if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Let us Pray for your needs:
Father, we all come to you. We confess that we have sinned and come short of your glory and ask for your forgiveness for walking after the flesh and not walking in the light of your love and peace. Help us dear God, lead us, as we yearn to go in your presence in Jesus’ name, Amen.
