There are times or situations when you deviate from your calling. When this happens God is not angry at you, for He knows all things; He is sovereign, almighty, faithful, loving, compassionate, and is able to help you reclaim what was lost.
In my last blog, I mentioned that I was grieving the loss of one of my extended family members and how it was difficult to return to my writing, creating videos, and podcasting. Today, I am happy to report, that with the help of God, I got over.
I realized that my situation was only a feeling and not a fact and that God would help me to recreate the zeal that I had lost, and he did. That zeal to follow God and do His will, returned by praying and listening to Gospel music. With prayer, I realized that God had never left me; He was carrying me, holding me, positioning me, and supporting me through my grief, With gospel music of praise and worship, I recognized that the enemy would use any means to hold me back and I refused to let this happen.
I started creating videos to encourage my listeners although the resulting views were low at first, but as I continued, the views increased as I was able to put out encouraging content. I want to encourage someone today, never give up on yourself even when the going gets rough. God has given you purpose, a gift that you can share with the world and oftentimes, you may hesitate because of fear or other circumstances which prevent you from doing so.
Recently, I listened to a YouTube short video which states that you should list ten goals that you have to accomplish in 12 months. Choose one of the goals that you need to work on immediately and then continue to put plans into action for that particular goal. That helps you and I to be focus and get things done.
