What are you experiencing?
Are you experiencing difficult times? Your loved one may be sick with a serious condition; you may have lost a son or daughter to violence; you may be caring for a child or an adult with special-needs; your friend may be at the point of dying; you may be homeless and lonely or may be so depressed that you feel like giving up. Wait! I am here to tell you that you have hope, because God knows all about you; He is interested in you; and He is with you.
God knows all about you.
God knew all about you and had a unique plan and purpose for you before time began. He made you in His own image and knitted you in your mother’s womb even before you were born. God knew that sin separated you and me from him and that the only way to reinstate that relationship that He so desperately needed, was for God to send his Son, Jesus, to save you and me from sin. Mary, a Virgin, who was engaged to Joseph was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and gave birth to Jesus in a stable at Bethlehem, because there was no room for him in the inn (Luke 2:4-7). Jesus, who proceeded from God, was without spot or blemish, became your sacrifice and mine— our justification, paying the price for our sins (Luke 1:77), so we can repent of our sins, accept him as Lord and Savior and present ourselves blameless before God.
God is interested in you.
God is interested in you. He wants you to involve him in all areas of your life whether you are going through joys or sorrows. Your involvement can include worshiping, praying, talking to God and getting to know Him. God wants to guide and lead you in the way you should go.
God is with you.
Finally, God is with you in your most difficult times. He promises never to leave or forsake you (Deut. 31:6). He is compassionate and faithful; He is the same God who hears your prayers (Psalm 34:17), forgives, heals (Psalm 103:3), delivers and provides for you (Psalm 91:15; Psalm 68:10). During difficult times, God will give you strength, confidence, courage, and the peace that you need. Remember, you have the gifts of Almighty God himself, His Holy Spirit who lives in you to guide and keep you, and His Son, Jesus Christ, who God sent to be the Savior of the world.
Have a wonderful holiday and may God bless and keep you.
