Have you ever noticed that when troubles come our way, we succumb to them? We feel depressed or under the weather. We feel alone, and we separate ourselves from friends and people who care about us. Some of you who have gone through the stresses of life, even go a little further and find yourselves in serious situations and you can’t seem to dig yourselves from the pit you are in.
It’s time to think differently. It’s time to look up and peak from the pit that you are in, and realize who you are-a child of God, and that God’s design for you is freedom and not bondage. Free yourselves from the pit you are in. Climb over those mountains.
Determine what mountains are holding you captive and climb over them. Is it a person in your life? Is it a person on your job? Is it sickness that keeps appearing in your body from time to time? What is it?
Speak to that mountain in the same way that Jesus showed us in Matthew 17:20, “I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you shall say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it shall move; and nothing shall be impossible to you.” He continued by saying that sometimes, we have to fast and pray. When you pray, ask God to remove those mountains in your lives. In some cases, you must decide to remove that, what hinders you from living an abundant life.
When you speak to those mountains, they can no longer keep you in captivity. You will be able to climb over those mountains of sickness, insecurity, fear and depression. You shall not die, but live and proclaim what the Lord has done (Psalm 118: 17).. God has not given you a spirit of fear but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Jesus rose from the dead and forever sits at the right hand of God interceding for you and me (Rom.8:34)..Live that abundant life that God has given you. You deserve the best.
