We are experiencing moments like never before. The Covid 19 virus is spreading, and the Omicron virus has joined in to make the pandemic even worse. During this difficult time, we must be in the mode of praying, praising, and answering God’s call.
Answering God’s call can be as simple as changing our mindsets: changing our backsliding to holiness, changing our hearts from unforgiveness to forgiveness, changing our hearts from hate to love, changing our hearts from guilt to freedom, changing from a feeling of procrastination to action, and a feeling of not knowing what your purpose is, to finding your purpose and answering God’s call now, rather than later.
I have never felt the need to answer God’s call as I feel now. Before the Pandemic, I wrote a little, and conducted workshops at libraries, but I did little to add to the kingdom of God although I sensed that God was calling me to use my talents for His glory. I realize now, more than ever, that God is great, and He is all that I need. He has the power to change our circumstances. In this moment, we should pray without ceasing and praise him for all that He has done in our lives. He sent his Son, Jesus, to die for your sins and mine, so we can have salvation. It is by grace that we receive salvation, not by our own doing, but it is God’s gift to us (Ephesians 2:8).
